Charleston, a classic yet stylish Southern city that allows for walking adventures, has become one of my new favorite cities. Why you ask? Ohhh could it be my new favorite store Hampden Clothing?! Yep, that’s it!
Hampden Clothing is home to literally every designer I covet daily..Suno, Rachel Comey, Opening Ceremony, Elizabeth & James, Alexander Wang…
The well edited store is owned by Stacy Smallwood, whose stint as a buyer for Neiman Marcus shows in her style, buying sense, and visuals.
I had the pleasure of purchasing a shades of neutral flowy dress by Elizabeth & James at Hampden Clothing that I wore to the 2nd night of Charleston Fashion Week…
Barnett & I walking the red carpet at Charleston Fashion Week (picture quality isn’t great & the photographer cut off my shoes, c’est la vie)
A.L.C. romper and Opening Ceremony stacked heel pumps in brown woven AND neutral crochet, yes please!
Marysia swimwear-Marysia Reeves was one of the guest judges for CFW AND a former CFW Emerging Designer Winner
Lunch Time! The Rooftop Bar & Cafe at the Vendue Inn overlooks the river dabbled with yachts, tugboats, and seagulls alike. Basking in the sun while munching on some fresh crab sushi (see below) was a lovely preview of summer days to come.
Indulgence of the day: creme de mint bar for me, and Boylan’s root beer for Barnett at Baked on East Bay Street
Charleston est magnifique!
