Day Three: Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week

AT VIVIENNE TAM AT LINCOLN CENTER

Kelly Choi

Kelly Choi, the host of Top Chef Masters, looking gorgeous as always at the Vivienne Tam show.

Serena Williams

Serena Williams at the Vivienne Tam show…girl needs to cross her legs we almost had a Paris Hilton situation on our hands!  And anyone know who the guy in the suit & blue turban is?? The photogs were takin’ pictures of him with Serena…

Serena Williams

MUCH better Serena!  She does look beautiful in her LBD (little black dress)

Vivienne Tam

Loved the large screen at the back of the stage to see the exquisite details of the Vivienne Tam Spring 2011 collection.  Her collection was dedicated to the people of the Silk Road in Asia, who in the summer of 2010 experienced horrific floods that left millions of people homeless.  She encouraged her attendees to check out these 2 sites to help out: http://www.give2asia.org/chinaflood and relief4pakistan.com

Vivienne Tam

The collection was so effortless & made me crave springtime with the macrame details, short flowy dresses, and again neutrals!

Vivienne Tam

How great are these macrame shoes?!

Vivienne Tam

Crochet tank + print silk harem pants….so effortlessly cool

Vivienne Tam

Amidst all the neutrals was the pop of purple…a common trend in all the shows I’ve seen!

AT THE Z SPOKE ZAC POSEN SHOW AT LINCOLN CENTER

Carmen Electra

Carmen Electra at the Z Spoke show…Z Spoke is Zac Posen’s diffusion line for the woman on the go who still wants to look chic & fabulous & edgy.   Sold at stores like Saks Fifth Avenue, the prices are much more reasonable than Zac’s divine Zac Posen collection.

Claire Danes

Claire Danes looking GORGEOUS on the front row at the Z Spoke show…Too bad her gorgeous husband, Hugh Dancy wasn’t there!

Z Spoke

The collection was comprised of 1970’s pieces with a feminine and yet modern flair.  The color palette was clear: red, mustard yellow, and black.  Bows and other frills balanced out the sharp shoulders, corseted bodices, and cut outs nicely.

Z Spoke

Z Spoke

This poor model took quite a fall at the end of the runway…you should have heard the gasping that hissed throughout the room!  She recovered beautifully though & interestingly didn’t come out again ’til the final walk…‘bless her heart’!

Z Spoke

Z Spoke

Theses ruffled frocks remind me of an updated version of something from the movie Grease…a bad ass Pink Ladies look fo’ sure!

Z Spoke

Loving this yellow that is dominating the color palette for Spring 2011

Z Spoke

Sexy cut outs.  I’m glad Zac used a few models that have more curves…no more of these anorexic boy looking models plllleeeease!

Zac Posen

Zac taking his final walk!  What a fabulous & energetic show!!! Merci Zac!

BEST DRESSED AT LINCOLN CENTER

Sabina

My new UTTERLY CHIC & COOL friend, Sabina Emrit of Access Fashion in London…ADORE her sheer long skirt.  And we both were sporting our Alexander McQueen scarves, gotta represent.
