Let the Shows Begin…Bahrain designers Noor Rashid Al Khalifa & Haya Mohammed Al Khalifa of Noon By Noor showcased their FW13 collection, and had a good turn out despite the blizzard that took NYFW attendees by surprise. The feminine brand speaks to the woman who wants to create a quality, luxe yet unique wardrobe. Their NYFW runway show consisted of divine long coats & capes in rich hues like ruby and sapphire. Stand out pieces include two printed, skinny leg suits that tells us the suiting trend of SS13 is not going away anytime soon!

Every Southern Homme loves Nautica. Whether he’s 15 or 55, a banker or a tech guru, Nautica has something for every guy. The Nautica Black Sail Collection was inspired by the nautical expeditions of Sir Ernest Shackleton. The chunky knits, fly fishing-esque legging/pant and beanie hats added an edgy yet sophisticated flair to the more traditional menswear line…not to mention the models were smokin’ 😉

Rebecca Minkoff showed off her Fall 2013 designs to a star studded front row Friday afternoon. Her use of leather, prints, and grunge aesthetic made for one of her best collections so far. Subtle striped suits with printed tees confirmed that the menswear trend is sticking around this fall. Her use of rich leather ranged from sleeves to pants and beautiful coats. And don’t think color is out this fall. The line featured a very vibrant yellow backless dress, sure to brighten those drab winter days. Need an accessory to top off your fall look? Try one of her knit beanies, which added a downtown cool feel to this collection.

Despite a raging blizzard, we devoted Billy Reid fans trucked downtown to view the Florence, Alabama-based designer’s Fall 2013 collection. The collection spoke to the ‘guy’s guy’ that also enjoys a well-tailored blazer and trousers. The gorgeous array of menswear fabrications in various patterns and textures added a freshness to Reid’s well known designs. Billy Reid stated in his program that his collection is for the guy that enjoys a ride on his dirt bike as much as he enjoys an eclectic dinner party. And what Southern Femme doesn’t want a guy like that in her life?
