New York Fashion Week is always a whirlwind of fashion shows, presentations, and dates with my lovely fashionable friends in the city. In between these fun happenings I love sharing stories and pictures with y’all. Enjoy!
Ankar Sweden is a menswear collection debuting for the first time during NYFW. Designer Niklas Ankar is quite the dapper man and his collection showcased just that.
Colorful pants, vibrant belts and pocket squares, all mixed and matched in unique ways, while still maintaining traditional silhouettes. Basically a Southern Hommes dream collection!
Niklas loves incorporating color into his collections to bring a vibrancy into his daily life given that his country, Sweden, can be quite bleak during winter months.

Naeem Khan is an American based, Indian designer who dresses style icons like Beyonce and Michelle Obama. His collection was by far one of my favorites of NYFW. And his front row was PACKED with A-list celebs, like Matt Damon & Kristin Chenoweth.
Fern Mallis, Robert Verdi and Philip Bloch all sitting front row.

Obsessed!! A silver beaded pant suit! What a unique way to dress for a black tie event!
Gilded lace gown. Breathtaking.

Pamella Roland is another favorite for evening gowns during fashion week. Her gowns are worn by celebs like Jennifer Hudson & country star Kellie Pickler. Her collection was inspired by her love for Aspen. The show was a stylish snow bunny’s dream, complete with lights made to look like falling snow, & winter white branches hanging from the ceiling.

Thank you surprise model Carmen Kass!!!
Celebrity Maria Menounos made a surprise appearance on the runway!

Fashion week wouldn’t be complete without seeing the stylish Alabamian, David Shelton. The Stella & Dot jewelry merchandiser selected a West Village hot spot, Hundred Acres, for our Valentine’s Day dinner. And since I couldn’t be with my boyfriend, David kindly acted as my fabulous date for the night!
I had the most rich and delicious lobster risotto with fennel and orange shavings.
David enjoyed a southerners fav-shrimp & grits!
And Valentine’s Day wouldn’t be complete without devils food cupcakes with heart shaped icing. YUM!
Hope everyone had a wonderful Valentine’s Day!
