Last spring I had the pleasure of styling a bridal feature with the talented wedding planner, Ginny Au of Bits & Bobs, and my dear friend & photographer, Stephen DeVries. And lucky us Southern Weddings magazine loved the photos as much as us, and featured them in their latest issue (on newsstands now, check it out HERE).
The overarching theme of our bridal shoot was upscale yet understated, British meets Southern country sophistication. For the bridesmaids’ wardrobe, my team and I stuck with a neutral, rustic color palette and unexpected elements like skinny cords, riding boots, and lace scarves.
Our gorgeous bride, Autumn, wore a dress by Heidi Elnora, and to compliment the gown I selected a pair of vintage blue flower earrings to also act as her ‘something blue’…
The look was made complete with a classic pair of Hunter wellies.

Aren’t they adorable?! They are Ginny Au’s precious kids sporting looks from Crew Cuts.
Now on to the guys… our sporty model, Nathan, got right in the lake and enjoyed some fly fishing with the guys. We thought this was a great idea for the groom and groomsmen on the day of the rehearsal.
We loved dressing the groomsmen! Our favorite touch– the Brier & Moss bow ties to complete the guys’ wedding day looks.
