Transition Your Wardrobe

This past week was a whirlwind as I was in NYC attending Fashion Week!  I had the pleasure of viewing the Spring/Summer 2015 collections, which included lots of sheer details, and graphic black/white prints.  Needless to say, it was inspiring!

I quickly noticed while in NYC that summer is coming to a close, and it’s time to think about fall.  The problem is if you live in the south like me, you know tall boots, leather, and coats aren’t gracing your body anytime soon.

What’s a Southern Femme to do during this transition weather?

Not to worry, as Deidre, another one of my amazing style coaching clients and I are going to show you 3 easy ways to transition your summer wardrobe into fall in this week’s “Style Secrets with Megan” video!  And at the end of the video, I will finally share what my big announcement is that will benefit YOU!

If you are wondering if your white jeans need to be put away…or if you are itching to wear your booties but don’t want to sweat to death…then you will love my tips in this week’s video!  Click below for my favorite transition weather tips:

How will you transition your summer wardrobe into fall?  I’d love to hear your favorite tip from today’s video, or perhaps one of your personal style tips–share the wealth :)

Talk to you soon!

Yours in Style,

P.S. I am so honored as The Scout Guide has listed me as the top Style Coach in Birmingham–it’s all thanks to femmes like you!!  I’d love for you to check out the feature here.

I was thinking about this today actually. So hot outside and I have a white dress on which I was thinking would be a great transition to fall, perhaps in the way of a cardigan sweater (3/4 sleeves, good idea!), swedish hasbeens and a sock? I typically wear my dresses year round and add cardigans (or sweaters and treat the dresses as skirts)/booties/boots in fall/winter.

Like the idea of keeping things light, but incorporating darker fall colors.

Thanks so much Miranda for sharing your transition weather thoughts and tips! I love some Swedish Hasbeens, and with socks sounds very cute and a good transition idea. Try wearing deep reds, and even leopard print with your white dress to carry it into early fall. That’s an on trend color palette for this fall.
